What kind of skills required to apply in BPO?

You should have a good command on English. You should be confident in
whatever you say. You should be ready to work in shifts (depending on the
Organisation and their shift timings). You also need Soft skills (Caring voice
but assertive tone if needed) and most important is the you should have a good
reason to make them feel why you need the job and that you will stay with them
for a long time (even if you don't want to). If you have worked before, then
what the reason that made you leave them. Be assured they will ask you "So
why do you want to work for a BPO ?". Tell them "Its a fast growing
industry and it has a lively working environment and its good for future
stability" Also make sure that before going for the interview you go
through the companies website and get some brief ideas like 1] When did the
company form itself 2] what the companies products are, 3] Who are their
related clients or sister concerns and 4] if possible how many people work for
the company (I am sure you will find it all on the home page of that particular
companies website) because they will be asking you why you want to join us
particularly. You can always tell them (just an example) " I know a bit
about this organisation like the org. started long back in (even if its not so
long ago) .... It has famous products like (even if the products are not so
famous)......It works hand in hand with (name of the sister concerns if
applicable) and with a capacity of approximately 2000 people its growing fast
and that I would like to be a part of this org and grow with it too.
And if they ask you "what would you be seeing yourself with us... one year down the lane" ? Reply promptly saying "With my best efforts and my superiors satisfaction I see myself as a Team Leader Manager.
